Sabro™ is a standout American aroma hop released by the Hop Breeding Company in 2018. Bred from a unique cross-pollination of a female neomexicanus hop, Sabro offers a complex bouquet of fruity and citrus flavors, including tangerine, coconut, tropical and stone fruits, with subtle hints of cedar and mint. Its high oil content, particularly myrcene, makes it exceptional for late kettle additions and dry hopping.
Originally known as HBC 438, Sabro was developed through a cross-pollination of a female neomexicanus hop, resulting in a hop variety with a unique and complex flavor profile. Its robust brewing performance and distinct aromas have quickly made it a favorite among craft brewers seeking to create innovative and flavorful beers.
